‘Women in Geosciences’ (WINGS), former GEODES, presented their actions about diversity and inclusion at the Swiss Geoscience Meeting 2019.
The first meeting of the ‘Women in Geosciences’ (WINGS) about diversity, equality and inclusion, was held online.
In order to foster equality and diversity on a larger scale, the committee adopted a new name and logo: GEODES (GEOsciences Diversity Equality Switzerland).
Dr Francesca Piccoli and Dr Julia Guidobaldi published a paper titled: ‘Report on gender diversity and equality in the Geosciences: an analysis of the Swiss Geoscience Meetings from 2003 to 2019’ in the Swiss Journal of Geosciences.
