The co-president of GEODES Dr. Chloé Bouscary, from the University of Lausanne, introduces the committee.
Chris Jackson is a geoscientist at Jacobs and Visiting Professor of Basin Analysis at Imperial College. He works in the general area of sedimentary basin analysis, and when not studying rocks, Chris gives geoscience lectures to the public and in schools, having appeared on several, Earth Science-focused, television productions and podcasts. Chris is engaged in efforts to improve equality, diversity, and inclusivity in Higher Education.
Siara Isaac holds a master’s degree in Bio-Organic Geochemistry and obtained a PhD in Educational Research in 2021. She works now at EPFL in the Center for Learning Science, her research is around teaching methods, science education and higher education.
